The National Football League, during the regular general assembly of the 2023-2024 season, currently held at the Moroccan Football Museum in Salé, revealed the details of its budget for the last season regarding the provision of the costs of the league, for the period of 1 July 2023 to June 30, 2024, during which large sums were allocated to support clubs, arbitration, insurance, and to run the league.
According to the data contained in the financial report of the League, the latter spent 24.4 billion centimeters for the 2023-2024 season, registered an increase compared to the total costs of the 2022-2023 season, which amounted to about 23.8 billion centimeters.
The grants of the first section of the professional league reached approximately 14.9 billion centimeters, while about 5.1 billion centimeters were allocated to the second division clubs, while the arbitration costs increased from 2.1 billion centimeters to about 2.2 billion centimeters between the two seasons.
On the other hand, the insurance costs witnessed a slight increase, as it amounted to 397 million centimeters for the season of 2023-2024 compared to 338 million centimeters for the previous season, and the costs of management of the league recorded a decrease from 1.53 billion centimeters in the 22-23 season to 1.36 billion centimeters during the same period of the season 23-24, while the costs of mathematical equipment and the granting of scorers stabilized at 288 million Centist and 25 million centimeters in a row.
As for granting competing clubs in the first section of the professional league, approximately 13.1 billion centimeters have been distributed as the granting of the participating clubs, and the arrangement rewards reached a total of 9.6 billion centimeters, while 2.8 billion centimeters were allocated to the Throne Cup rewards, in addition to allocating additional arrangement rewards worth 1.66 billion centimeters.
Al -Rajaa Sports Club issued the clubs benefiting from granting the league after winning last season in the league and cup with a total amount of approximately 1.46 billion centimeters, followed by the Royal Army Club with 1.15 billion centimeters, then Nahdet Berkane Club with 987 million centimeters, while the remaining amounts were distributed to other clubs participating in the tournament according to their arrangement and achievements.
