The Asian Football Confederation decided earlier that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the final rounds of the AFC Champions League for its new system for both versions of 2025 and 2026, as Jeddah will host the final rounds of the championship from the quarter -finals to the final match, during the period from April 25 to May 3, on the King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al -Faisal Sports City Stadium.
Al -Nasr, Al -Ahly, Al -Hilal from Saudi Arabia, and the Qatari dam, qualified for West Asia, while Kawasaki and Yokohama FC Marinos qualified for the Japanese, South Korean Guangzho and Thai United.
The quarter -finals draw will take place on Monday 17 of this month at the AFC headquarters in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, where it will be a drawing draw so that it will avoid facing two teams from the same region, where each team from West Asia will face a competitor from the East region.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the final roles of the most ancient Asian championship at the club level comes as an extension of the major sporting events and events hosted by the Kingdom in recent years, as it has become a world leading destination at the level of organizing continental and international football tournaments.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing to host the Asian Cup 2027 for the first time in its history, and the Saudi file won the right to host the 2034 World Cup, becoming the first country in history to host the World Cup alone with the participation of 48 teams.
