
The Pakistani forces managed to liberate 190 passengers out of more than 450 who were on a train attacked by Baloch separatists in the southwest of the country, while 30 attackers have been killed so far, according to security sources today (Wednesday).
For more than 20 hours, the Pakistani forces have been trying to liberate the hostages and restore control of the train and the whole region.
The “Balochistan Liberation Army” was the main separatist group in this oil -rich province and minerals, bombing the railway to force the “Jaafar Express” train, which was heading from Quetta, the capital of the Balochistan region to Peshawar, in the Khyber Khua region, to stop.
The Balochistan Liberation Army threatened to start executing the hostages unless within 48 hours, political prisoners, activists and missing buds were released, who said the army had kidnapped them.
