Syrian Foreign Minister Ahmed Al -Shaibani holds a meeting with his Iraqi counterpart, Fouad Hussein, at the headquarters of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad, on Friday evening, in a meeting dominated by various security and political files between the two countries, and an Iraqi diplomatic official in Baghdad says to Al -Arabi Al -Jadeed that Al -Shaibani, accompanied by Syrian government officials, is discussing a package of security files related to borders, ISIS, and the territory of the horror, along with a file of political relations. This is the first visit of a Syrian official to Iraq since the fall of the Bashar al -Assad regime on the eighth of last December, as the past months included different Iraqi positions on change in Syria, especially from the political forces and armed factions allied to Iran, which adopted negative positions on the new Syrian administration.
