
The Doha Film Foundation said that the 11th edition of the Kamarha Film Forum, “will receive more than 250 specialists from various film industry sectors with the aim of guiding emerging filmmakers, and providing their creative opinions and practical advice to them to upgrade their films to the next level of success.”
The same institution added, in a communication reached by Hespress, that “the program of guidance and supervision of filmmakers at the Cinema Film Forum this year includes urban meetings from 4 to 9 April, in addition to online sessions from 12 to 14 April, which enhances the opportunities of filmmakers to increase communication with the valuable cinematic experiences that will support the success of their projects.”
The same source stated that the aforementioned forum brings together specialists and pioneers in the field of cinema from 50 countries, which is the largest participation since the beginning of the forum, pointing to “the presence of film directors, producers, managers of cinematic festivals, programmers, consultants, fund managers, sales professionals, heads of acquisition companies, script experts, distributors, video platforms, broadcasting companies, and other industry leaders who are They played a decisive role in preparing new voices in the Arab and international cinema industry.
The communication explained that the participants in the 2025 cockpit belonging to countries from all over the world, including: Argentina, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Mexico, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Norway, Palestine, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Senegal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burkina Faso, Netherlands, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States of America.

In this context, Fatima Hassan Al -Rumaihi, CEO of the Doha Film Foundation, said, “The presence of industry experts in a cockpit is not only to provide counseling and training, but rather a driving force for transformation. Through the participation of their knowledge, experiences, and network of relationships, these experts contribute to enabling the new voices to find their place on the global scene, ensuring that the various and influential stories reach the audience they deserve.
Al -Rumaihi made, according to what was reported by the aforementioned communication, “sincere thanks and appreciation to these experts for joining us in our commitment to the next generation of international stories narrators, and for their valuable support in contributing to the formation of the future of global cinema.”
As a reminder, the forum this year hosts 27 long films projects, 10 projects for series, and 12 short films in different stages of development, production and post -production. Each creative team will have consulting sessions for its projects through previously scheduled meetings with a group of international cinema experts.
