
The International Olympic Committee stated that the deal that extends the current agreement with the American network for a period of four years, constitutes a “major contribution to the long -term financial stability of the entire Olympic Movement.”

The Executive Council of the International Olympic Committee approved the agreement and delegated the next president of the Supreme Olympic Authority, which will be elected on March 20, to sign it after taking office next June.
The previous agreement was signed with NBC to transport the Olympic Games in the United States in 2014 for 7.75 billion dollars, including summer and winter games until 2032.
