
The Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works began implementing an ambitious plan to employ artificial intelligence solutions in its current and future businesses and projects, which reflects positively on its main goals in sustaining charitable and humanitarian work and achieving efficiency in operational operations, and improving the experience of beneficiaries from its humanitarian assistance inside and outside the country, according to the “WAM” agency.
The “Zayed Humanitarian Foundation” signed a cooperation agreement with the “Aliria Technology” company that specializes in providing artificial intelligence technology and solutions, with the aim of developing the uses and applications of artificial intelligence with a positive impact on business and projects related to achieving development goals and sustainability of giving to individuals and societies around the world.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Director General of the Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, Mohamed Atiq Al -Falahi, and CEO of “Aliria Technology” Eric Landri. This cooperation aims to use the strength of artificial intelligence to meet the challenges in humanitarian work, and to give priority in particular to the field effort, by automating all administrative work and identifying the most needy and priority geographical areas to provide aid, in addition to reducing the time of response to emergency situations and providing urgent relief to countries and affected regions around the world.
The Foundation is currently making great efforts to employ artificial intelligence achievements to serve humanitarian goals in order to achieve sustainable development goals, whether through the establishment of partnerships with specialized authorities and companies or the rehabilitation of human cadres and their training to keep pace with the skills required to deal with new technologies, to be more literal in dealing with administrative and field challenges, according to the “WAM” agency.
She emphasized that artificial intelligence techniques will have a significant impact on improving the quality of life for individuals and societies in need by improving the efficiency of the charitable and humanitarian system, expanding the scope of access to aid to the needy and automating administrative tasks and logistical services, which saves time and resources on human cadres in the interest of carrying out business in record time and with higher accuracy.
Artificial intelligence technologies will be adopted in all stages of humanitarian aid provided by the Foundation, starting with analyzing information and data, processing requests, evaluating needs according to priorities, providing advice and support more effectively, inventory management, planning for events in addition to managing access to needy or difficult to access areas.
