The isolation of success

A short clip that is divided from the documentary “Competition in Music: Tuskanini and Fortafler”, in which we hear the Italian maestro Arturo Tuscanini, one of the orchestra. We are here in front of a strict polarization: Either you are hard and creative, or you respect your creativity. What we learn from these two documents and from the old names that are about to become dinosaurs, is that cruelty is a necessary condition for the success of the experience of art: to be hard on yourself and others, and to seek success even if success requires harsh isolation or misunderstanding of the half -talent who occupied our lives.
