The suffering of the Egyptian drivers continues after they were cut off in the city of Al -Arish North SinaiWhere they spent the days of Ramadan away from their families, waiting for them to allow them to cross the border and deliver aid to Gaza StripWho suffers from a suffocating siege due to the closure of Israel Cross In front of humanitarian aid.
The trucks loaded with food and water stopped to Gaza on both sides of the roads in Al -Arish, where drivers continue to wait and prepare their breakfast meals on the trucks, amid feelings of grumbling and sadness, due to their absence from their families in this holy month, but they confirm that their only hope is to deliver them to the people of Gaza who face difficult conditions.

One of them, the driver Hammadi Ahmed, says that despite the availability of food and drink in Al -Arish, the situation is difficult, especially since he wishes that he could share these Ramadan moments with his family.

He adds that his greatest hope is to allow trucks loaded with aid to cross into Gaza, where residents of the Gaza Strip face a severe lack of food and water, which leads him to patience and perseverance.
Drivers express their willingness to stay in these circumstances as long as this is necessary to deliver aid. They do not mind returning again if necessary, expressing their deep solidarity with the Palestinians.
“We are waiting for the green light so that we can deliver this aid, and we will not hesitate to return again and again,” says the driver Ahmed.

For his part, the driver, Mr. Abdel Hamid, confirms that solidarity with the Palestinians is his greatest motive.
Since the start of Ramadan, he did not eat his breakfast at his home, but rather preferred to stay in Al -Arish with his colleagues, defying them in supporting the family in Gaza.
He says: “We left our homes and families, and we came here for our brothers in Palestine, and we hope that they can get our aid.”
As for the driver Hatem Hamdan, he expresses his severe pain due to the reservation of aid, and he hopes that he can deliver food and drink to the Palestinians in Gaza, even if this requires his life.
While the siege continues and the suffering continues in Gaza, the drivers remain in Al -Arish continuing their human mission, they hope that a day will come to them to deliver this aid to those who are in need of them.
