Chapter 24 of The Girl of the Moment
Clarice takes Beatriz to a fancy restaurant and notices the girl’s embarrassment. Beatriz opens up to Glorinha about the distance she feels from Clarice and asks her friend to accompany her to dinner at Juliano’s house. Teresa is moved by Jacira’s love for Eugênia.
Guto feels pressured to respond to Eugênia’s love. Ronaldo takes Celeste to meet Genoca and Mauro introduces himself. Edu regrets Olivia/Celeste’s absence from the scheduled meeting. At the dinner in honor of Beatriz, Basílio pretends to be interested in Lígia and talks to Beto. Beto confronts Basílio and leaves dinner.
Chapter 25 of The Girl of the Moment
Zélia discovers that Maristela, Bia and Juliano conspired against Beto and Beatriz. Carlito is disappointed with Ana María’s attitude. Celeste gets frustrated when she thinks that Mauro is Génoca. Edu regrets to Guto the absence of Olívia/Celeste in the meeting arranged between them.
Raimundo takes care of Beto, who blames himself for leaving Beatriz alone at Maristela’s dinner. Beatriz is informed of Basílio’s hospitalization, who blames Beto for his injuries. Marlene confronts Carlito about his misuse of the perfume shop’s motorcycle. Maristela orders Bia to place Beto’s stolen beret in Raimundo’s house and Zélia listens. Zélia threatens Maristela. Beatriz accuses Beto of lying to her and attacking Basílio.
Chapter 26 of The Girl of the Moment
Beatriz doesn’t believe Beto and Bia celebrates. Maristela gives in to Zélia’s blackmail. Beatriz vents to Glorinha about Beto. Clarice suffers from severe headaches. Basílio confesses to Beto that he conspired against him to separate him from Beatriz. Ana María invites Ulisses to dinner at her house.
Glorinha looks for Beto and says she believes in him. Basílio pressures Maristela to get a job at Perfumaria Carioca. Nelson is rude to Anita and Edu watches them. Celeste suspects Mauro.
Raimundo talks to Lígia about what happened with Beto. Beto and Glorinha deduce that Basílio had an accomplice in the trap and suspect Bia. Zélia moves into her new apartment. Beto confronts Bia against Clarice.
Chapter 27 of The Girl of the Moment
Clarice defends Bía from Beto. Celeste confesses to Eugênia that she doesn’t like Mauro. Raimundo approves of Mauro and Celeste going out. Beatriz supports Basílio, who encourages the girl not to leave Clarice.
Anita dreams of Alfredo. Basilio provokes Beto. Heloísa blackmails Nelson. Lígia observes Basílio in a restaurant and tells Beto that he can help his son. Beatriz asks Clarice about her hometown and finds her mother’s answer strange.
Zélia sees Maristela adulterating Clarice’s medicine. Mauro feels uncomfortable with Celeste’s clothes. Iolanda faints when she sees Ulisses arrive with Ana María at her house. Glorinha takes Beatriz to the Lígia nightclub. Lígia tries to get Basílio to confess his plot against Beto.
Chapter 28 of The Girl of the Moment
Basílio does not fall into Lígia’s trap and pretends to be offended. Beatriz rebukes Lígia and Glorinha’s attitude and goes after Basílio. Beatriz tells Basílio that she has no doubt that Beto attacked him.
Yolanda kicks Ulisses out of her house. Beatriz confronts Beto. Zélia steals a pill from Clarice and puts it in Orlando’s drink. Glorinha asks Beatriz for forgiveness. Teresa discovers that Jacira was lying to her about her health. Basílio tells Maristela about Lígia’s plan.
Maristela convinces Juliano to hire Basílio as a driver for Perfumaria Carioca. Orlando feels severe headaches after taking the medicine and Zélia tries to find out why Maristela is medicating Clarice. Beatriz discovers that Clarice has false documents.
Chapter 29 of The Girl of the Moment
Beatriz feels bad. Juliano hires Basilio. Glorinha asks Basilio for forgiveness. Raimundo supports Beto. Heloísa threatens to tell Anita and her children about the affair with Nelson. Ana María tricks Ulisses and tells him that Iolanda gave permission for the two to get closer.
Edu decides to forget about Olívia/Celeste and asks another young woman out. Teresa makes Jacira confess her cheating. Basílio listens to an argument between Juliano and Maristela. Arlete receives a supposed telegram from Valéria. Juliano opens a bank account under Clarice’s original name. Zélia makes an appointment with Clarice’s doctor. Beatriz finds it strange that Clarice tells her that Zélia is her sister.
