A 33-year-old man was arrested for falsifying medicines in the Campo Grande neighborhood, in the south of the capital. According to the São Paulo State Security Secretariat (SSP-SP), the suspect used his own apartment to manufacture, store and distribute fake anabolic steroids, which were sold on social networks.
The action took place on Thursday (11/28) in an operation in which police officers from the State Department of Criminal Investigations (Deic) participated. Investigations led to the Court issuing search and seizure warrants for three properties in the region.
In one of the locations, on the property where the suspect was located, the team found more than 60 boxes of various anabolic steroids. HE police Also collected were a thousand empty bottles, hundreds of caps, labels, 40 needles, 78 syringes, as well as supplies ready for the manufacture of therapeutic products and six cell phones.
The investigation of the case was carried out by agents from the 2nd Investigation Station for Embezzlement and Crimes Against Public Faith, of the General Investigation Division (DIG).
The case was registered as adulteration of medicines, execution of a search and seizure warrant and location/seizure of an object in the 2nd Division of General Investigations (DIG).
