In ceasefire, the Israeli army bombs Hezbollah in southern Lebanon

The Israeli Armed Forces (IDFits acronym in English) announced, this Saturday (11/30), a series of attacks against the Lebanese group Hezbollah, in southern Lebanon. The offensive takes place three days after the start of the ceasefire.

In an official statement, the Israeli Army carried out the bombings after detecting activity “that represented a threat to the State of Israel, violating ceasefire agreements.” They cite four incidents in the note.

“Hezbollah terrorists have also been identified approaching Hezbollah structures in southern Lebanon,” he said.

Additionally, the Israeli military identified “terrorist activity at a Hezbollah rocket launcher facility” in the Sidon area of ​​southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah bombing during ceasefire period

According to the IDF, troops are positioned in the southern part of Lebanon, “operating against any threat to the State of Israel and enforcing any violation of the understandings of the ceasefire agreement.”

On Wednesday (11/27) the ceasefire agreement signed between Israel and Hezbollah came into force. A day after the decision began, the Israeli government and the Lebanese group accused each other of not complying with the measures.
