In addition to restrictions on listing, the Clean City Act also has rules limiting the size of large advertising panels on the exterior of buildings. Therefore, the validation of the signal will depend on the analysis of the CPPU (Urban Landscape Protection Commission).
The commission, linked to the Secretary of Planning and Urban Licenses of Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB), will discuss the case on December 4.
On that occasion, a collaboration agreement will be analyzed in which Mondelez must commit to making urban improvements around the stadium.
The old sign, with the shields and names of the club and the stadium, has already been removed from the outside of the upper stand facing north, located in front of Plaza Roberto Gomes Pedrosa.
The MorumBis panel has already been fixed, but remains covered with a metal layer. The exhibition should take place once the cooperation agreement with the city council has been formalized.
