the former president Jair Bolsonaro He was accused, this Thursday (21), by the Federal Police of violent abolition of the democratic rule of law, coup d’état and criminal organization. In an interview with Metrópoles, he criticized Minister Alexandre de Moraes, rapporteur of the case before the Supreme Federal Court (STF).
“Minister Alexandre de Moraes carries out the entire investigation, adjusts statements, detains without charges, collects evidence and has very creative advice. “It does everything that the law does not say,” said Bolsonaro.
“We have to see what is in this PF accusation. I’ll wait for the lawyer. This, obviously, goes to the Attorney General’s Office. It is in the PGR where the fight begins. “I can’t expect anything from a team that uses creativity to denounce me,” he concluded.

In addition to Bolsonaro, retired army general Braga Netto, retired general Augusto Heleno, federal police officer Alexandre Ramagem and Valdemar da Costa Neto were also charged.
The action is the result of the investigation into the attempted coup d’état to keep Bolsonaro in power after the expiration of the current president. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the 2022 elections.
According to the PF note on the accusation, the evidence was obtained through several police investigations carried out over almost two years.
At more than 800 pages, the final investigation report was completed early this afternoon and will be delivered to the Federal Supreme Court (STF).
The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) will decide whether or not to report the accused to the Supreme Court. If the Court accepts the complaint, they become defendants and will be tried.
