Sao Paulo – HE civil police investigates the disappearance of a giant inflatable castle that disappeared after being taken by a transport truck from Buriti Shopping, in Mogi Guaçu, in the interior of São Paulo.
The stolen toy measures 700 square meters and is considered the largest in Latin America. It consists of an inflatable structure with an internal activity circuit.
The crime occurred last Monday afternoon (11/18), after the toy was dismantled and sent in a transport truck to an exhibition in Rio de Janeiro.
Gil Fagundes Pueri, businessman who owns the inflatable park, says that he hired a delivery service through an app and that the merchandise was placed in a white Scania 112 truck that had the license plate and characteristics provided by the company.
The toy was scheduled to arrive at its destination in the early hours of Tuesday (11/19), which did not happen. The afternoon of that day it was discovered that the license plate used by the truck was cloned and that it had not been sent by the transport company, but by scammers.
As reported on social networks, the truck was seen in the north of São Paulo towards the states of Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso. Pueri offers financial rewards to people who have information about the case.
The case was registered as theft at the Mogi Guaçu Sectional Police Station.
