The artist explained his position emphatically and with humor
Actor Tony Ramos, known for his discretion and long career on television, reaffirmed his decision not to join social networks, even amid the influence of famous colleagues with millions of followers. During an interview with Quem, the artist explained his position emphatically and with good humor.
“Now, as for being with colleagues who have a social network, it is a beauty. They say it was on the internet and they ‘printed it’, they keep showing it to me and I think it’s normal. There are some here, like Tatá, Sabrina, Belo, with millions of followers, I think it’s great, but it’s not my thing. This is simpler than 2 + 2 = 4. It is not my thing, it is not my profile and I will not have it, period,” he stated.
The 76-year-old artist, who will join the cast of judges for the new season of ‘The Masked Singer Brazil’, also commented on the challenges of dealing with fake profiles that use his name. “From time to time there are some [perfis] that are false, TV Globo monitors this and manages to eliminate them. But nothing against it, just a question of profile, easier than moving forward.”
The actor also highlighted the success of his friend Ary Fontoura, who reinvented himself on social networks during the pandemic. “My dear friend Ary Fontoura found himself doing this during the pandemic and it is a success. A question of profile, he is like that, playful, all the time, I think it is normal. He takes it, does he? print and send me email“, he reported.
