IBAMA opens more than 70 vacancies in a new selection process
HE Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA) registration is open for selection process number 38/2024, focused on temporary positions for PREVFOGO Integrated Fire Management brigades. 75 immediate vacancies are offered to work in five different locations: Barreiras (BA), Quixeramobim (CE), Brasilia (DF), Corumbá (MS) and Serra Talhada (PE).

- Brigade Chief – Total of 5 vacancies, with monthly remuneration of R$ 3,300.00.
The contracts are initially valid for two years, with the possibility of extension for one more year, depending on operational and resource needs.

To register, candidates must appear in person at the IBAMA unit of the municipality in which they wish to be assigned. It is important to note that registration dates vary by location:
- Quixeramobim (CE) – Registration on November 27 and 28, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Other cities (Barreiras, Brasilia, Corumbá and Serra Talhada) – Registration on November 21 and 22, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

What are the stages of the selection process?
