This Wednesday (14th) the 25th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, United States, where they will host many of today’s leading Latin artists.

This edition of the Latin Grammys will honor Carlos Vives, winner of two Grammys and twelve Latin Grammys, with the Person of the Year award, known for his works such as: “Robarte Un Beso” and his partnership with Shakira, “La Bicicleta”.

How and when to watch the Latin Grammys?

The awards ceremony begins at 3 p.m. (Brasília time), with the premiere, in which most of the awards are offered, including awards in the categories dedicated to Brazilian artists. The broadcast of this part of the event is broadcast on the official channels of the Latin Academy.

The main event will take place at 9 p.m. (Brasília time) and there will be a pre-show one hour before. The awards ceremony is broadcast on the BIS channel and via Globoplay streaming. Brazilian singer Luísa Sonza will host the 2024 Latin Grammy Awards, along with María Becerra and Juliana Velásquez.

Anitta and Xande de Pilares stood out in the Latin Grammy nominations, as they competed in the main categories of the award. Mil Veces by Anitta competes for Record of the Year and Xande Canta Caetano by Xande de Pilares competes for Album of the Year Anitta and Xande also compete in the categories of Best Urban Performance in the Portuguese Language and Best Samba/Pagode Album. , respectively.

The Latin Grammy also has categories focused on Brazilian productions, such as Best Christian Music Album in the Portuguese Language, Best Urban Performance in the Portuguese Language, Afro-Portuguese Brazilian Music, Best Roots Music Album in the Portuguese Language, among others.
