Disney+ reveals details of “Daredevil: Reborn”

Disney+ released a new teaser on Tuesday (12) with never-before-seen scenes from the series Daredevil: Rebornafter its world premiere during the Marvel Studios panel at D23 Brazil, in São Paulo.

The series marks the return of Charlie Cox as the iconic hero. Although plot details have not yet been revealed, the central characters will return.

In addition to Cox, the cast includes Jon Bernthal as Punisher, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen, Elden Henson as Foggy and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, all reprising roles from the original Daredevil series, released on Netflix between 2015 and 2018.

New cast members include Margarita Levieva (Afloat), Sandrine Holt (Better Call Saul), Michael Gandolfini (The Deuce), Arty Froushan (Carnival Row) and Lou Taylor Pucci (Death of the Devil). Dario Scardapane (Jack Ryan) took over as showrunner for the production.

Initially, Daredevil: Reborn It would be written and produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, creators of Covert Affairs.

Cox and D’Onofrio in the MCU

Filming that began in 2023 was interrupted due to strikes in Hollywood and, during this period, Marvel opted to replace the creative team and restart the project.

Both Cox and D’Onofrio have appeared in the MCU. The hero was seen in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s lawyer and in She-Hulk: Defender of heroeswhile the villain appeared as an antagonist in Hawkeye and Echo.

Daredevil: Reborn premieres on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
