Cold front reaches the Southeast and leaves heavy rains in 2 states
Find out how the weather will behave this Wednesday (13th) throughout Brazil:
South
The weather becomes cloudier with rain in the eastern part of Paraná, while in the northern half of the state the rain occurs in isolation. The weather remains firm and without rain in Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and the south and west of Paraná. Temperatures are low, especially at dawn.
Southeast
A cold front that advanced through the Southern region reaches the Southeast, leaving the weather cloudy and with rain throughout the day in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and the center-south and Triângulo Mineiro, where there is a possibility of moderate rains. In the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro, in Espírito Santo and in the central, eastern and northeastern regions of Minas Gerais, isolated showers are expected, which may be accompanied by storms.
Midwest
The cold front on the southeast coast organizes humidity over central Brazil. The forecast is for cloudy skies and rain at any time between Goiás, Mato Grosso and the extreme north of Mato Grosso do Sul, where the rains can be intense, not ruling out the appearance of storms. In the south of Mato Grosso do Sul, the rains are more isolated, while in other areas of the state the weather remains firm with sun between clouds.
Northeast
The weather remains unstable, with rain at any time in western Bahia, Piauí and Maranhão. In other areas of Bahia, isolated showers with thunderstorms are expected, while in the coastal strip, from Sergipe to Rio Grande do Norte, isolated rains also occur.
North
The combination of heat and high humidity continues to favor rains throughout the region, which can be intense, and the appearance of localized storms cannot be ruled out.
