Jojo Todynho spoke out after circulating on social media that she had been expelled from the 2025 Carnival parade Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel, the school where she would be a muse.
Upon seeing the matter go viral, the former Fazenda stated that the decision was hers, since she does not know if she will be able to parade due to a possible surgery she will undergo.
“I’m not going to parade next year because I still don’t know if I’m going to have surgery or not. And those who decide whether I am going to parade or not are the boss and the school. In fact, he already knew that I was not going to parade because I had already told him the day I met him, the day of the samba performance.“, said.
In a mocking tone, Jojo said: “Baby, if next year I want to be a muse there, I will be. For 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029… because who invited me last year? [para o Carnaval de 2024] was the boss. Do you understand?”
Samba school talks about Jojo Todynho’s departure
In a statement, the press office of the Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel confirmed the celebrity’s departure from the role of muse for next year’s Carnival.
“Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel announces that Jojo Todynho will not be part of the school’s muse group for Carnival 2025. The decision was formalized earlier this month and officially announced during the samba-enredo final, when the new group of muses was presented”the note states.
