Panty thief arrested in Niterói

A man was arrested this Saturday (2) after stealing 20 panties in a shopping center located in the center of Niterói, in the Metropolitan Region. According to the Military Police, the suspect already has nine criminal records.

The case took place at the Shopping Bay Market, on Rua Visconde in Rio Branco. Employees of the stolen premises informed agents of the 12th BPM (Niterói) about the crime. Still inside the shopping centre, the man was detained by members of the public before the police arrived and made the arrest.

According to authorities, the suspect, whose identity was not revealed, has eight criminal records for robbery and one for robbery. After being captured, he was sent along with the recovered items to the 76th Police Station (Niterói).
