The boy was one of the six people hit by the shots of Felype Barbosa da Silva, 27 years old. The businessman started a shootout after being prevented from leaving the bar, because he wanted to leave the establishment without paying the bill.
Security guard Jorny Thiago Abreu Adorno, 23, tried to stop the customer from leaving, but he was also shot and did not resist. The young man died at the scene. The other four victims suffered minor injuries, including the child’s mother.
Upon admission to the ICU, the boy received medications to reduce the swelling of his skull, since the bullet that hit him passed between the scalp and the bony part of the head, near the ear.
