
Esperance, the champions of the Tunisian Premier League football, announced today, Monday, the appointment of Maher Al -Kanzari as a new coach for the team to succeed the Romanian Lorento Regekamv.
Esperance said in a statement on the club’s official website, “The club contracted with coach Maher Al -Kanzari to take over the first football team, and the technical framework for assistant coaches Ghassan Bouchareb and Sami Zeit were strengthened,” Esperance said in a statement on the club’s official website.
The “Tunisian Club Sheikh” announced earlier today to end his contract with the Romanian coach and the assistant technical staff.
Three coaches were led by Esperance this season, the Portuguese Miguel Cardoso, Alexander Al -Qasari and Regekamf.
Al -Kanzari, 52, supervised the Tunisian U -17 team in 2006 and 2007.
He assumed the position of assistant coach in Esperance between 2007 and 2010 before he promoted to the position of coach. He was dismissed at the end of December 2010 after he led Esperance in three games, two of which ended with victory.
Al -Kanzari led the Tunisian stadium to finish the first leg of the league in first place.
Regekamf took over the training of Esperance last November to succeed Cardoso and achieved 16 wins with the team in 24 games.
Esperance shares the top of the Premier League with the Monastir Federation, each with 53 points from 25 games and five rounds before the end.
Esperance will meet with the South African Mamelodi Sun Downs in the quarter -finals of the African Champions League next month.
The Esperance fans recently criticized the results of the results, and the team tied in the last two league matches with the Benqardan Union and the youth of Al -Omran.
The 49 -year -old coach Rigikamf has worked with several Roman clubs, including Stewa Bucharest, and he also trained several Arab teams such as Al -Hilal, Al -Ahly and Al -Ta’i in Saudi Arabia, Al Wahda and Al Wasl in the Emirates. And he won the UAE Super Cup title with Al Wahda.
Rigikamf Stewa Bucharest, one of the oldest Romania clubs, was trained in 2012 and succeeded in its first season in leading the team to win the domestic league title that was absent from the club’s treasures for seven years.
The coach also crowned the Roman Super Cup to reap Rigikamv his second title with the team in his first season. He also led the team to the round of sixteen for the European League.
