The newspaper “Yediot Aharonot” reported Monday evening that the Israeli Air Force bombed sites in Damascus, hours after raids on the Daraa area.
The raids on the countryside of Damascus extended military sites in the Kiswa.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation quoted reports that the Israeli army attacked military sites southwest of Damascus.
Israeli raids targeted the vicinity of the city of Daraa in southern Syria this evening, according to the Syrian official news agency “SANA”, in what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said had affected a military position.
A statement by the media office of the Syrian Ministry of Health said, “3 martyrs and 19 civilian injuries, including 4 children and a woman, as a result of the Israeli occupation aircraft targeting the vicinity of the city of Daraa.”
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the raids targeted a military headquarters that were affiliated with the former army, and included forces from the new Syrian army.
The observatory explained that “the Israeli war fighters targeted several air strikes, Brigade 132 in the city of Daraa, which led to the escalation of flames, and ambulances and fire engines rushed to the target place,” adding that there are “reports of injuries.”

For his part, the Israeli army said that it attacked military targets, including leadership headquarters and military sites that contain combat means and military vehicles belonging to the former Syrian regime, which are trying to rehabilitate these days.
He added: “The presence of these means in South Korea is a threat to the State of Israel. We will not allow a military threat in southern Syria and we will move against it.”
This comes after Israel announced a raid last week on Damascus, targeting the headquarters of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, the Syrian Observatory said it had killed at least a person.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to launch such strikes against “everyone who attacks us” in the region.
He said in a video statement: “We attacked the headquarters of Islamic jihad in the heart of Damascus. We did so because we have a clear policy: Whoever attacks us or plans to attack us, we will strike him. “This does not apply to Syria, but everywhere, including Lebanon.”
After Assad’s overthrow in December, Israel launched hundreds of raids on military facilities and naval and air bases across Syria, which said that its goal was to prevent the new administration’s acquisition of the former army arsenal.
The Israeli army also penetrated into the built -in weapon in the Golan, which is located on the outskirts of the part of the Syrian plateau.
In February, Netanyahu demanded that southern Syria be fully armed, warning that his government would not accept the presence of the security forces of the new authorities in Syria near its borders.
