
Field sources revealed that the Sudanese army is approaching the headquarters of the General Command in the capital, Khartoum from the west, and from the presidential palace on the east, stressing that it extended its control over strategic locations.
The army forces are fighting a decisive battle in Khartoum, as they are trying to tighten the screws on the rapid support forces that are shrinking their control. Sudanese soldiers broadcast pictures that they said were from the family neighborhood, which is two kilometers from the presidential palace, at a time when field sources reported that the army targeted the presidential palace with drones.
The Sudanese Armed Forces threw leaflets on the areas where the Rapid Support Forces in Khartoum are holed up, calling on them to surrender or escape.
And the publications, which included graphic fees showing the convoys of the Rapid Support Forces as they withdraw: “Leaders and their guards crossed the Mount of Awlia, so what are you waiting for?”
In an official statement, the Sudanese army announced its control over most of the capital, Khartoum, stressing that it was the noose on the besieged Rapid Support Forces near the presidential palace.
He added that the army extended its control over new strategic sites, which increased the pressure of the siege on the rapid support forces led by Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, “Hamidati”, which is stationed in the presidential palace and some government institutions in the center of the capital.
The army confirmed that its forces are besieging the presidential palace and government institutions from all sides, and that they are close to controlling the army leadership center, west of the capital.
And news sites loyal to the army published pictures and videos showing the ongoing military operations in the country, including the surrender of a number of “rapid support” officers in the “Nile Towers” after the armed forces penetrated in the center of Khartoum.
Reports revealed the destruction of many vehicles and military equipment of the Rapid Support Forces, and the control of the National Intelligence and Intelligence Presidency building.
