The commission raised this demand, in a communication reached by Hespress, stressed that “what happened during preparations to participate in the World Athletics Championships inside the hall scheduled in the Chinese city of Nanjing, which is specified between 21 and 23 March 2026, reflects the size of the imbalances that this university suffers from at the level of management and management.”
She explained that “the failure of any Moroccan hostility to qualify according to the minimum determined by the International Athletics Federation, and the limitation of participation to only three runners based on the world rankings, is a sports scandal by all standards and raises more than one question mark on the method of managing resources and the absence of clear preparation and qualification programs.”

“Accumulated failure”
Zuhair Esdour, head of the National Anti -Corruption Commission in Sports, stressed that “since Morocco harvested a meager yield in the Paris Olympics in a clear way clearly the retreat of the Royal Moroccan Athletics University at the level of management, the authority has realized that the accumulation of the university’s failure in regional and international sports demonstrations is evidence of the existence of bad management and management of this organization; If it were otherwise, its results would have appeared on the ground.
Asbour said, in a statement to Hespress, that “the University of Athletics, in turn, shares a problem present in many sports universities, related to the construction of officials on their head for years without being able to achieve any honorable results,” stressing that “all sports bodies concerned with this problematic will be the subject of correspondence and data issued by the National Anti -Corruption Commission in Sports.”
As for the legal mechanisms that the authority can resort to to impose respect for the law in the management of the athletics university, the authorized himself stated that it will “correspond to the Ministry of National Education, First Education and Sports in order to hold responsibility and demand it to intervene to end the violations of the measure in this regard, as long as the law gives it this possibility in its relationship with sports universities.”

“Clearly declining”
Al -Tohamy Bammal, a member of the Administrative Council of the National Anti -Corruption Commission in Sports, spoke about its monitoring of “a dangerous decline in the results achieved by Morocco in athletics sports during the period of the presidency of Abdel Salam Ahzoun, compared to last years,” noting that “the material capabilities are available, which asks for the defect, is it at the level of management or preparation and training of hostilities.”
In a statement to Hespress, Belmem stressed that “in terms of training while the country reached the level of preparation and graduation of professional football, for example, we find that there is a lack of interest in training and forming heroes in athletics. The competitions that are held in these sports remain weak and occasional; What causes not to explore many energies in this sporting field.
The civil activist himself stressed that “in the presence of a person far from any sport at the head of the athletics university, it is not possible to wait for the latter to achieve except the bad results.”
