Princess Wales alone appeared in the Irish Guard procession on the occasion of St. Patrick’s Day in London.
Princess Kate, wearing a light green coat, appeared, and was received by senior officers in the celebration of the 125th anniversary of its founding.
Kate, 43, is a colonel in the regiment, but she was absent from the offer last year for her to treat cancer.
Upon her arrival to the Wellington barracks in Westminster, the princess granted the soldiers the medals of long service and good behavior, and presented the traditional shamrock branches of officers and guards. The amulet of the regiment, an Irish hunting dog named Shimus, received a branch of the shamrock. Saint Patrick’s day is a royal imitation.
After the show, the princess was scheduled to meet the old warriors and army students, known as “Mini Mix”, and visited the lower ranks in the food hall to drink elites in honor of her.
