The National Airports Office announced “the cancellation of double inspection when leaving and arriving at international travelers, which was obligated to make their passports again after the entry seal; This is in a new step to enhance the flow of passengers in the Kingdom’s airports.
The office explained, in a communication to him, that “this decision came into effect at the end of this week at Casablanca Airport, Mohamed V; This comes thanks to the development of automatic gates that allow faster and safer monitoring, “noting that” this measure is a fruit of close coordination between the General Directorate of National Security, the Directorate of Immigration and Border Control of the Ministry of Interior, and the National Airports Office. “
The communication added that “thanks to this update, travelers can pass through the border crossings with a greater smoothness; It reduces waiting periods, and improves the travel experience. This measure will be gradually adopted to include all airports of the Kingdom before the summer season; It is a time that each airport will be equipped with this new system.
The source reminded that “the primary goal of the National Airports Office remains to achieve a balance between event and security, by adopting advanced technological solutions to keep pace with the continuous growth of the international air transport movement, while ensuring optimal monitoring of the borders,” stressing that the “Airports Strategy 2030” is probably at a steady pace for achieving its goals.
