The disintegration of the traditional Western alliance, which was formed after the Second World War in its poles, European and American, is going on a liberal narrative whose essence is individual, freedoms and capitalism, in parallel to form a Western alliance of a new kind, its social conservative essence, cultural conflicts and technological feudalism.
This is evident in the rapprochement between the extreme right in Europe and America, which began in a shy way, and then became clear and more powerful than ever. The leaders of the European extremist right have often expressed their admiration for the policies of US President Donald Trump and his speech, in harmony with their national and popular agendas. Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Urban praised Trump, describing it as “one of the most respectable men”, which reflects a deep ideological convergence. Likewise, leaders like Italian Matteo Salvini and the Dutchman Khairat Wilders announced their public support for Trump, agreeing with him in his positions on immigration and national sovereignty.
Europe and the United States have been seven decades ago considered two strong allies of Western values, as they work together to defend the so -called “freedom and democracy” values system. However, at the sixty -first Munich conference For security, US Vice President GD Vans said unprecedentedly that Europe is gradually deviating from the common Western values. His sharp and specific words were a heavy hammer that broke the virtual harmony of Western values, and revealed the prolonged value differences between the United States and Europe. Vance Romania was accused of canceling the results of the presidential elections of the far -right candidate on the basis of “foreign intervention”. It clearly indicated that this behavior is essentially as a manifestation of “voters’ fear” and “excluding various political opinions” by private interest groups.
For a long time, there was a political “protection wall” in European politics: in order to preserve the traditional political system, the prevailing political parties in various countries united to prevent the extremist right forces from entering the basic decision -making circle. But Donald Trump’s return gave a moral boost to the far -right forces in Europe. The growth of extremist right -wing forces in Europe is appropriate to the strategic intentions of the United States in many respects. On the political level, some of the policies call for extremist right -wing powers are in line with the demands of American interest groups, which will help the United States promote the implementation of policies that are compatible with their interests in Europe. On the level of public opinion, the right -wing forces succeeded, by relying on their popular propaganda strategies, in creating discussions in the field of European public opinion and directing public feelings, and thus creating a favorable public opinion environment for the United States and gaining more hegemony in the Atlantic relations.
In an attempt to strengthen these relations, European extremist right -wing parties formed a “National for Europe” group, with the aim of cooperating more closely with the Trump administration. This initiative highlights its desire to influence US foreign policy and gain support for its local agendas. Trump’s influence is expected to enhance the daring of the extreme right in Europe, which will contribute to the normalization of some nationalist and anti -institutional ideas. In countries such as Austria, Germany and France, the extremist right parties gained momentum, and Trump’s speech on immigration and national identity has often echoed. This raises concerns about the future of European unity and the potential shift towards more conservative policies. Despite the ideological similarity, complications arise as a result of the contrast of national interests, as Trump’s commercial policies “First” are challenges to European economies, especially those with close trade relations with the United States. With the continued development of the American and European political scenes, the future of this relationship remains the subject of monitoring, as it could be the form on which the Western alliance will settle.
