The Houthi leader in Yemen, Abd al -Malik al -Houthi, vowed to target American warships in the region, warning that the continued American aggression against Yemen will make the American forces in the range of his group fire.
In a televised speech broadcast by the group’s Al -Masirah channel, Al -Houthi said that the decision to ban Israeli navigation in the Red Sea comes within the framework of supporting the Palestinian people, noting that targeting Israeli ships aims to pressure Tel Aviv to end the siege of the Gaza Strip, and allow the entry of humanitarian aid.
The United States accused the company in the crimes against the Palestinians, noting that the continued American aggression against Yemen may make American warships a target of the Houthi forces.
He stressed that Washington is seeking to impose its hegemony on the region in cooperation with Israel, considering that the American position reflects an absolute bias in favor of the occupation.
He pointed out that the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip represents a “genocide” that requires urgent regional and international movements to stop it, criticizing the absence of any “serious positions” on Arab and Islamic countries.
Al -Houthi stressed that this is what allowed Israel to increase the pace of its attacks in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria, considering that the official negligence encouraged the occupation to persist in its repressive policies.
Al -Houthi stressed that his forces are ready to confront any American escalation, noting that missile strikes and running planes will target US naval pieces if the aggression continues.
Additional escalation options
He stressed that the group will not accept American and Israeli attempts to “restore Yemen” or push it to back down from its positions, adding that his group has additional escalation options that can be resorted to if the attacks continue.
He pointed out that the Yemenis consider supporting the Palestinian issue as part of their religious and moral commitment, explaining that his country has withstood the face of American military pressure over the past months, and its position will continue “without retreat.”
Al -Houthi considered that Israel and America are seeking to subjugate the entire region to their plans, stressing that his group will not accept any settlement that ignores the rights of the Palestinians, and will continue to move “with all possible ways” to pressure the occupation.
He stressed that the continuation of the aggression will only strengthen the military capabilities of its forces, and he said in this context that “every new American aggressive tour increases us strength and designer, and Washington will not succeed in weakening us as it is fancy.”
Al -Houthi accused the United States of escalating the situation in the Red Sea by bringing its forces and turning the region into a military confrontation arena, warning that Washington’s continuation of this would negatively affect international naval security.
Strategic decision
He also stressed that “the decision to prevent Israeli navigation is a strategic decision, not a temporary tactical step,” noting that his group is ready to expand its operations in accordance with the events of the events.
Yesterday, Saturday, the Houthi group announced that America launched more than 40 raids on the capital, Sanaa, Saada, and Al -Bayda, which resulted in an infinite statistic that 32 people were killed and more than 100 others were wounded, most of them women and children.
This came after US President Donald Trump issued orders to the American armed forces to launch a “decisive and strong military action” against the Houthis in Yemen, accusing them of launching a “piracy, violence and terrorist campaign” targeting American and international ships and aircraft.
The American move came after the Houthis announced on Tuesday evening the resumption of the ban on the crossing of Israeli ships “in the areas specified in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, Bab al -Mandab and the Gulf of Aden,” after the end of the deadline granted to Tel Aviv to introduce aid to the Gaza Strip.
Since November 2023, the Houthis have begun to target or linked Israeli shipping ships in the Red Sea or anywhere they reach missiles and enlightenings, in the context of solidarity with the Gaza Strip, which was subject to an unprecedented Israeli aggression.
The Houthis also launched from time to time missile attacks and inscriptions on Israel, some of which targeted Tel Aviv (center), which was met by Israeli strikes for sites that it said was military for the Yemeni group, before the group stopped its attacks with the ceasefire agreement in Gaza into force on January 19.
