Antoine Karbaj, a Lebanese actor and playwright born in the town of Zbuja, the foot of Jabal Sanin, Lebanon, for his Lebanese family. He received his science in the public school, and he also studied the subjects of history and geography in the teachers ’house and graduated from the Jesuit University.
His acting talent appeared at the age of nine, when he was composed (sketches) and performed with neighbors and relatives in his home. In the late 1950s when he studied history at St. Joseph University in the Eastern College, his theatrical activity began at the university theater, but he was the first theatrical work in which he participated in Morocco through the play (Akalal and night), and after that he cooperated with (Mounir Abu Dibs) until 1968 in which he moved to Al -Rahbana, besides this, he presented many films starting from (Garo) in 1965, as well His start was in the drama late, as it came in 1974 through the series (Al -Baida).
Antoine married the poet, journalist and ordination (Laur Gharib) in 1966, and he has three children: (Walid, Rola, Mazen).
