A source from the majority of the Council, in a statement to Hespress, accused the opposition of launching early electoral campaigns to win the Rabat population, especially in the Ocean neighborhood.

The spokesman added that the seminar of the mayor of Rabat “was very successful, as it provided accurate data. If it was, as the opposition claims (confused), she would not have decided to go out in front of the media, ”as he put it.

The same source said that the opposition “claims many of the fallacies that were standing at the design of the preparation of the ligament during the press conference,” noting that “the testimonies of the owners are clear regarding the process of the matter smoothly and positively aimed at improving the status of their housing, which was previously hostage of rain and weather conditions.”

In another context, the regional writing of the Justice and Development Party in Rabat came out to announce “not to vote on any decision within the council within the project to design the preparation of the capital that includes demolitions.”

“What happened in the discussion sessions is the assurances of the Urban Agency for Rabat that there are no demolitions against any of the population after the fears that started since 2023.”
