The Yemeni Ministry of Health announced today, Sunday, the death toll from the American bombing, which targeted a number of governorates to 31 people and more than 100 wounded.
Anis Al -Asbahi, a spokesman for the Houthi -controlled Ministry of Health, said, “The number of victims of the American aggression, which targeted civil and residential areas in Sana’a, the governorates of Saada, Al -Bayda and Raafa, reached 132 defenseless civilians, Of them 31 martyrs and 101 wounded.
Al -Asbahi added that “most of the victims are children and women, and that the search for victims is still continuing.”
During the past hours, American fighters launched dozens of air strikes on a number of Yemeni governorates under the control of the Houthis; Among them is Sanaa and Saada (the main stronghold of the group).
The targeting operations included military sites and homes, as well as targeting a power station in Dhayan, Saada Governorate, which caused the power out of electricity.
On Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced the start of military operations against the Houthis, warning that the attacks on the international shipping movement in the Red Sea should stop.
