Hundreds of thousands of Syrians participated in celebrations in the various regions of the country, the 14th anniversary of the Syrian revolution, which is the first since the fall of the Bashar al -Assad regime on December 8.
Thousands gathered until late yesterday evening, Saturday, in the Umayyad Square, central Damascus, raising the Syrian flags, in light of strict security measures.
A military helicopter of the Syrian Ministry of Defense participated in the celebrations of the Umayyad Square.

Military helicopters threw roses on the celebrities in the arena, and also fought a low altitude and cast publications that affirm the duty of the Syrian army to protect the Syrians.
These publications carried a blessing for the Syrians on this occasion and an affirmation of the values of freedom and dignity for which the Syrian people rose up, and the need to participate in building the state after the departure of the ousted regime.

Crowds in the governorates
Large crowds also participated in the celebrations in Aleppo, Homs, Hama, Idlib, Lattakia and other Syrian governorates.
And demonstrators expressed their overwhelming happiness after the fall of the Assad regime.
The celebrities raised the Syrian flag, which represented a banner of the revolution throughout its years, and chanted slogans demanding the application of transitional justice and holding the symbols of the previous regime.
The Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al -Shaibani wrote on the X platform, “We will remain debtor to cry the first freedom, which started from Daraa, the cradle of the Syrian revolution, and all cities have been blessed, and loyal to the great sacrifices that our people made over more than 14 years.”
Al -Shaibani added, “We will continue to work until we can our people in all its spectrums and all of its land to live freely and dignity,” Al -Shaibani added.
