Dozens of educators and primary education educators participated in the stand, raising slogans calling for justice in paying wages and ensuring their labor rights, in the presence of representatives of the regional office, who confirmed that their demands come in the context of a series of problems they suffer from, in light of difficult working conditions and late wages.
In a speech to him, by the way, Abdullah Hasbi, the representative of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights, pointed out that “workers in the primary education sector are among the most marginalized groups in the educational system.” He explained that they “suffer from the absence of job stability and non -encouraging social conditions, which reflects negatively on their performance”; He also stressed that “the difficult financial situation of educators directly affects their ability to continue to work efficiently and effectively.”
Hasbi added that “the state has ratified many international covenants related to human rights, including the right to wage, as well as the job code, but dozens of educators still live under the burden of oppression as a result of the delay in the payment of wages, with many of them suffering from their wages piracy.” He called on the relevant authorities and all the competent authorities in the sector to “work to work fairly to the nannies and educators, and integrate them into the public office, in a manner Their basic rights. ”
In this context, the regional office of educators and primary education educators in Khouribga region highlighted that the demands “are not limited to the local scale, but are part of national demands concerned with improving working conditions in this vital sector, and ensuring the rights of all its employees,” expressing his hope that the concerned authorities will respond to the calls of this group and work to address their demand file seriously and effectively.
