
The field meetings of the “generation of 2030” initiative launched by the Youth and Modernity Party in the various regions of the Kingdom, with the aim of involving young people in public debate and public policies.
In an exceptional youth meeting, more than five hundred young men and women from various regions, who belong to various activities, were held in the Grand Hall of the Fez group, and social assistants, social assistants, and volunteers in civil society, to express their opinions and criticisms on the immediate youth issues.
The dialogue table was presented to the most important problems facing this category, starting with mediation in establishing contracting, and reaching ways to integrate into the Greater Moroccan workshops. Young people also dealt with disparity in the field justice between urban and rural areas, as well as the phenomenon of digital illiteracy, which constitutes a great obstacle to their aspiration for a future worthy of their capabilities and capabilities.
The intervene reflected a noticeable boldness in criticism, highlighting the shortcomings of project support programs, and the weak listening and representative mechanisms within political institutions.
While many local actors, including elected and responsible for the management of public affairs, were found to listen to the needs of young people, they were not satisfied with raising problems, but rather practical proposals for the advancement of the mental health sectors and sports and cultural activities, and supporting young artists, as well as demanding their involvement in developing public policies.
For its part, the “generation 2030” initiative formed an incubator for the ideas and suggestions launched by the youth, especially what is related to the “dignity and hope” duo, which represents the foundation vision of the initiative. It agreed that the perpetuation of this methodology based on spontaneity and spontaneity would make way for more effective communication between young people and officials, and will contribute to enhancing the confidence of the emerging generations in institutions and enabling them to contribute to the positive contribution to public affairs.
This, at the end of the meeting, was concluded to the need to continue to hold similar listening sessions in various cities and regions, so that the youth are the driving force behind the finding of realistic solutions to the development challenges facing society in the horizon of 2030.
In a similar meeting in the city of Rabat, the attendees dealt with a number of youth problems, and the necessity of engaging in managing and developing public policies; In addition to making the “generation 2030” platform incubating youth ideas.
The meetings will continue with similar tours next week, both Beni Mellal and Agadir, to include the rest of the regions.
