At the height of the war, and after a series of assassinations carried out by the Israeli occupation army against Hamas officials, led by the leaders of its famous political office, Ismail Haniyeh, and Yahya Al -Sinwar, the movement established a temporary administrative committee, composed of five members who are Khaled Meshaal, Khalil Al -Hayya, Zahir Jabareen, Muhammad Darwish, and Nizar Al -Abdullah.
This leadership composition receives special attention in Israel; Where the “Wint” website highlighted a report today, Saturday, in which it sheds light on the new structure of the movement, which makes decisions and makes it alongside the Sinwar brother, Mohamed.
According to the site, last November and after the assassination of Sinwar, the committee met to take the decision on appointing a successor to it, before the committee decided to continue the movement of movement affairs until internal elections to choose a new leadership. Although it was decided at the time that the elections were held in March, it was not clear until the hour if this entitlement was present or not, according to the site, while the latter quotes “sources in Gaza” as saying that “if these elections take place, Hamas will choose a leader from outside the Strip.”
Meanwhile, the site indicates that Nizar Al -Abdullah has a very important role in the movement in general, and in the file of the prisoners ’exchange and ceasefire negotiations, which is managed and has reached its climax recently. According to the Arab media sources, Al -Abdullah is “a hidden person” in the negotiations, although the head of the movement in Gaza Khalil, the living, is the most central figure ever in the Hamas delegation of negotiations.
In the context, the report indicates that Abdullah was several times with the “head of the delegation”, while the serpent is the “media facade” of the negotiations. According to what was mentioned, Al -Abdullah, in the year 2021, nominated in the elections for the presidency of the movement, to lose in exchange for the martyr Al -Sinwar in the second round, with a slight difference, and based on the foregoing, “Al -Abdullah is seen as the most popular figure in the movement.”
A symbolic position and a man of “relations opposite Iran”
On the other hand, the site notes that Ismail Darwish, known as “Abu Omar Hassan”, is headed by the Hamas Shura Council and the “Political Mission”, for the movement to countries such as Iran and Turkey. The site is guessing that Darwish, who represents a symbol of the movement of movement, “does not have a sweeping charismatic, and therefore has been given a symbolic role.”
As for Khaled Mishaal, who is one of the leading leaders of the movement, he is, according to the site, “today he does not have an important position and the reason is that he was not a close closest to the Sinwar, and he is not acceptable to the leaders of the movement in the sector, and even after the assassination of Haniyeh and Al -Senwar, when his name was presented as a potential alternative, this did not meet with the welcome of Hamas activists and high officials.”
In addition to the foregoing, the movement’s leaders abroad, such as Zahir Jabareen, are occupying today more influential roles in directing the movement’s activities within the sector, especially after the assassination of a number of prominent leaders, as the report claims that “Hamas is managed today by a varied varied leadership that includes field and local leaders, and prominent figures abroad, with expectations to appoint an official leader soon.”
According to the site, Jabareen runs the movement’s financing file, maintains good relations with Iran, and a tap is an important financing for Hamas. In addition, he is also responsible for the “West Bank”, since the assassination of his predecessor, Saleh Al -Arouri.
On the other mold, Khalil al -Hayyah, who was close to the Sinwar, today occupies an important position in the movement at the political level, especially his role in the ceasefire negotiations. The site claims that “the good living relations that it gathered with the Senwar gave him priority to the leadership of the movement, as well as his good relations with Muhammad Al -Sinwar, unlike Meshaal and other leaders.”
Al -Sinwar’s heir and “The Spirit of the Martyrs”, which leads the elite
Sinwar, born in September 1975, in Khan Yunis, is famous for the title of “shadow”, accusing Israel of leading resistance operations against Israeli settlements in “Gush Qatif” before the disengagement in 2005, and the families of the soldier Gilad Shalit in the same year. Also, according to what was known about the foundations and led by the “unity of shadows” responsible for the detention of the prisoners, as well as his participation in tunnels engineering, and planning the “Flood of Al -Aqsa” process in October 2023.
The other key figure is the leader Izz al -Din Haddad, who is called in Gaza the “spirit of the martyrs of Al -Qassam”. According to the site, Haddad is one of the prominent leaders in the movement’s military arm, where he occupies the membership of the Military Council, and led the Gaza battalion. Under his leadership, several battalions, including the elite unit that led the “Flood of Al -Aqsa”. Haddad has survived several assassinations targeted by the occupation.
