Amateurs of monitoring astronomical phenomena in the world continued the overall eclipse of the moon, which could be seen in parts of the world and among them in the western African continent, which includes Arab countries.
This eclipse, which occurs for the first time this year, was completely seen from the northern and southern American continents, but the residents of the Asia and East Africa continent were unable to watch it, as its start was monitored in the western African continent in the countries of Mauritania, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and the Western Libya, according to the International Astronomy Center.
This astronomical phenomenon occurs for the first time since May 2022, and the moon turned into dark red, which is known as “bloody moon”.
The moon acquires this color through the sunlight that reaches the moon, during the total eclipse, passing through the Earth’s atmosphere.
