
A new phase of the volunteer medical program in cardiac surgery and cardiac catheterization, which comes with the implementation and support of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Acts and the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, started in the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Acts and the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, through medical cadres and competencies from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The volunteer medical program that launched its projects in April of the year 2024 includes multiple medical specialties, including: cardiac and catheter surgery, ear, nose and throat, open heart surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, burns and deformities, urinary tract surgery and physical therapy to contribute to reducing the human need from all Yemeni governorates.
The medical program came due to the readiness and capabilities of the hospital after its operation project from the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, as the total medical services provided in it reached more than 2.4 million medical services, and it comes on an area of 20,000 square meters, with a capacity of 270 beds, and includes 14 specialized clinics, in addition to the heart center, while equipped with the latest medical devices and equipment.
