Western media revealed that a delegation includes about 60 clerics from the Syrian Druze community, through the armistice line in the occupied Golan Heights to Israel, today (Friday), on the first visit of its kind in nearly half a century.
The information reported that the delegation crossed in 3 buses accompanied by Israeli military vehicles to the town of Majdal Shams in the Golan, and went to the north to visit the shrine of the Prophet Shuaib in the town of Julis near Tiberias, and the spiritual leader of the Almohads community in Israel, Sheikh Muwaffaq Tarif, according to the sources.
For its part, the Israel Broadcasting Corporation announced that a delegation of Syrian clerics from the Druze community entered Israel this morning. Local sources said that 3 buses entered the occupied Syrian Golan to the Syrian town of Hadar at the border to transport the sheikhs of Druze.
Meanwhile, the families and families of the village of Hadar in the occupied Syrian Golan expressed their strong condemnation of the visit by some sheikhs to occupied Palestine, at the invitation of some pro -occupation parties in the Palestinian interior.
A statement to the people said that Israel, which was never keen on minority rights, is taking advantage of this religious visit as a tool for sowing the division in the national class, and seeks to use the Druze community as a defensive line to achieve its expansionary interests in southern Syria.
The people’s statement added that they did not and will not forget the crimes and violations committed by the occupation state against our people in the Golan, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
The statement of the people of the town of Hadar in the occupied Syrian Golan confirmed that these sheikhs only represent themselves, stressing the affiliation of the people and families of the village of Hadar Al -Wahid to the sect of the Syrian people.
Israel has occupied the Syrian Golan Heights since 1967, and expanded its control later by occupying the buffer zone and destroying equipment and ammunition for the Syrian army after the overthrow of the Bashar al -Assad regime through hundreds of air strikes.
