Episode Fourteenth – A wrong call reveals a double murder
In the middle of a cold night in 2018 in London, the police station received a short emergency call, in which the voice of a woman was heard saying: “Please, he is here … he kills us,” then the line was cut off.
The police tried to follow the call, but the phone was not registered in any database.
Nevertheless, the investigators insisted on the research, so they used advanced techniques to determine the approximate location of the call.
After an hour search, two bodies were found for a man and a woman, who were killed shortly before the call.
The strange thing is that the phone was not on the site, which raised the question: Who made the call? After extensive investigations, they discovered that the killer himself was carrying the phone in his pocket while leaving, but he did not know that the voice assistant on the phone recorded the victim’s voice before her death and sent the call automatically.
Thus, technology revealed a crime that no one had discovered in time.
