Prison management confirms the safety of “Al -Shabakia”

The General Commission for Prison and Reintegration Administration responded to some news published on social media regarding the reservation of a shipment of spoiled “Al -Shabakia” candy, which was directed to the central prison, Mall of Al -Baraki in Safi, by the Royal Gendarmerie elements.

The General Commission for Prison and Reintegration Administration said, in a clarification statement, that “on March 13, a truck belonging to one of the companies in charge of providing prison institutions with food materials was arrested from Fez to the central prison in Safi and loaded with a quantity of“ Shabakia ”.

The explanatory statement added that “after examining the materials reserved by the competent authorities, it was found that they are sound and conforming to the conditions of health safety, but the used transportation did not respect the required conditions, so that they could be reserved by the competent authorities.”

The General Commission for Prison and Reintegration Administration indicated that “the concerned company confirmed its keenness to provide the aforementioned institution with another amount of ‘Al -Shabakia’, which is included in the components of inmates during the month of Ramadan, according to the conditions in force in the field of health safety, in line with the requirements of the campaign that brings them together and the General Commission for Prison and Reintegration Management.”
