
The Secretary -General of the Arab Parliament for the Child Ayman Othman Al -Barrout confirmed that the Emirati child’s day, which falls on the 15th of March of each year, represents a prominent station that embodies the firm commitment of the UAE to support the rights of the child and enhance an environment that guarantees its growth, protection and empowerment according to the finest international standards.
The Parot said that the Arab Parliament for the Child, since its establishment, plays a pivotal role in the rehabilitation of Arab children for the future, which is the Emirati child as an integral part of it through qualitative programs that focus on building the leadership personality, consolidating the culture of dialogue and enhancing awareness of their rights and duties, in a way that establishes the values of active participation in their societies.
He added that the parliament seeks, through its various activities and activities, to provide children with the opportunity to gain leadership skills and training in the mechanisms of parliamentary work and engage in discussing issues that affect their present and future in line with the lofty vision of the UAE in enabling emerging generations and preparing them to be tomorrow’s leaders, according to the Emirates News Agency.
The Parot praised the efforts made by the wise leadership of the state in this field by adopting advanced policies and legislation that guarantees the child a safe and supportive environment and enhances his right to good education, integrated health care and community participation, stressing that these efforts make the Emirates experience a model to be a global care in childhood care and ensure its prosperity.
The Secretary -General of the Arab Parliament for the Child stressed that Parliament will continue its efforts to rehabilitate children and provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to become positive changes that contribute to building their societies and achieving sustainable development.
