Aston striker Markos Rashford and Jordan Henderson, Ajax Amsterdam, returned to the England squad announced by the new coach Thomas Tuchel, today, Friday, in preparation for my confrontation with Albania and Latvia at the World Cup FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Newcastle defender Dan Bern and Miles Lewis-Skli, Arsenal player, can play their first international matches after England invited them for the first time in the first squad chosen by Tochel.
The last appearance of the Cashleford with England was last year in a friendly match against Brazil, while the last appearance of Landerson with England was in November 2023.
Rashford, 27, joined Aston Villa in January on loan from Manchester United and made four assists in nine games with the club.
Rashford played 60 international matches with England and scored eight goals, but his chances at the international level diminished under the leadership of former coach Gareth Southgate after his level declined with Manchester United.
England will start its journey in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in “Wembley” by facing Albania next Friday before playing with Latvia on March 24.
