The government media office in Gaza warned against the exacerbation of the situation in the Strip, with Israel’s intransigence and its insistence on closing all crossings for the 13th day.
The office said, in a statement today, Friday, that Israel’s closure of the sector crossings has doubled the suffering of 150,000 Palestinians from chronic and wounded diseases.
He stressed that 90% of the Palestinians do not find water after preventing the entry of the operating fuel for wells and desalination stations, and that the running out of fuel caused a stopping 25% of the sector’s bakeries for work.
The statement pointed out that 80% of the Palestinians lost their sources of food, whether by stopping charitable quantities or by stopping the disbursement of relief aid.
The office talked about the risk of famine due to the Israeli siege applied to the Strip and preventing the entry of aid.

The office affirmed that the previous indicators “reflect a picture of what faces more than 2.4 million people inside the Gaza Strip, after the Israeli occupation decided to kill them slowly, so they tightened their siege and prevented them from all the ingredients of life and made Gaza a large prison.”
He warned that the coming hours “will carry with it more deterioration of the afflicted humanitarian reality on the living, health and environmental levels, with famine, food and water insecurity, and the collapse of the services and health system almost completely.”
The office held the Israeli occupation leaders responsible for this crime and all that results in it, led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He called on the Arab and Islamic countries to break the siege on Gaza, pressure to open the Rafah crossing, ensure the introduction of the needs of citizens and the priorities of the sector, and appealed to the international community not to submit to the will of the occupation, take practical measures to break the siege and hold the war criminals accountable, and ensure that they are not impunitive.
