On Thursday, the Council of Government approved Wafa Shaker as Director of the Regional Academy for Education and Training in the Tangier Al -Hoceima region, coming from the Regional Academy of Souss Massa.
The new educational official of the North Academy holds a master’s degree from Mohammed V University in Rabat, and a doctorate in “management and governance” from the same university.
Shaker graduated in an academic and professional path, as she specialized in physics and graduated from the regional center for education and training professions in 1990, before she obtained a certificate of donation in physical education in 2007.
The same official also entered the field of educational management in 2013, as she held the position of head of the regional center for literacy and improving irregular education, before assumed the duties of the regional director of the Ministry of National Education in Safru, then a regional director in Meknes.
Wafa Shaker is awaiting a serious responsibility in one of the most important regional academies, as it will be required to enhance the quality of education in the region of Tangier, support educational reforms, and work to improve the educational system according to the strategic directions of the sector.
