On the occasion of the Saudi medical support team in disaster, he said to adopt and classify the World Health Organization as the first international medical team of the second in the eastern Mediterranean region, and the 14th globally within this category, that this reflects the Kingdom’s ability to achieve the highest international standards in the field of emergency medical care, and prepare to provide life -saving medical services at a global level for needy societies, whether within the Kingdom or around the world, and to confirm the Kingdom’s ability to provide An effective response to health emergency at the global level, and its pioneering role in enhancing health security regionally and internationally.
This achievement comes as an affirmation of the Kingdom’s commitment to developing its health system, in line with the target of Vision 2030 and the health sector transformation program.
The program aims to enhance the prevention of health risks and ensure the sustainability of health services according to the highest international standards, and the team benefits from innovative technologies, including the “alert” platform that enhances the speed of response and managing health crises with high efficiency.
