The return of the stars .. prominent names in the Qatar national team list before the World Cup qualifiers

The Spanish national football team coach, Luis Garcia (44 years old), announced on Thursday evening the list called for the confrontation of North Korea and Kyrgyzstan, on March 20 and 25, in Doha and Beskak, in a row, in the seventh and eighth rounds in the first group competitions of the third round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The list included 30 players: Saad Al -Shayeb, Salah Zakaria, Mahmoud Abu Nada, and Meshaal Barshim for goalkeeping, along with the players: Ahmed Al -Janhi, Ahmed Al -Rawi, Ahmed Suhail, Ahmed Alaa, Ahmed Fathi, Akram Afif, Damilson Junior, Al -Maz Ali, Al -Hashemi Al -Hassan, Boualam Khokhi, Pedro Miguel, Jassim Jaber, Hazem Ahmed, Tariq Salman, Hassan, Abdullah Al -Ahraq, Abdullah Youssef, Lucas Mendes, Muhammad Siraj, Muhammad Montari, Murad Naji, Mustafa Tariq, Hammam Al -Amin and Youssef Abdel -Razzaq.

The list witnessed many developments with the return of the elements of Ghata from participating in the twenty -sixth edition of the Gulf Cup, which was held in Kuwait during the months of December and January last, similar to Edmelson Junior, Abdel Karim Hassan, Khokhi Boualam, Ahmed Suhail and Hazem Ahmed, while they included players who did not participate in previous rounds of the third stage of the World Cup qualifiers, such as goalkeeper Mahmoud Abu Nada And player Murad Naji, while Lucas Mendes and Pedro Miguel returned to the list after they were absent during the last period of injury.

Starting today, Friday, the preparatory training will start at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, to continue daily during the coming days in order to reach the full readiness, before confronting the North Korean team scheduled for the 20th of this month at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha for the seventh round, before traveling to the city of Bishkek to face the Kyrgyzing team there, in the eighth round on the 25th of the same month.

Qatar will have to win in both confrontations in order to move behind the remaining competitions of competition for the direct qualification of the 2026 World Cup, by occupying one of the first or second places in the group that the Iranian team leads with 16 points. The Qatari team is fourth in the group with seven points, three points behind the third UAE team, and six points from the second Uzbek team, while the Fifth Kyrgyzing team comes with three points, ahead of the last -ranked Korean team.
