Episode 20/13/13 of the “Sharia and Life in Ramadan” program discussed the reality of the new Muslims in the Western countries, the challenges facing them, the duty of preachers and Islamic centers towards them and the reality of the call in light of the current conditions.
The episode was hosted by a member of the Fatwa Council in Britain, Dr. Muhammad Ali Balauo, who said that there are no official statistics for the number of those who enter Islam in the Western countries, describing the matter of intentional on the part of governments.
There are a large number of new Muslims in Europe, but the largest number of these are in Latin America, whose residents have a strong belief in Christianity, unlike Europe in which atheism is spread, says Balau.
However, it is not possible to hold accurate statistics for the number of those who enter Islam. “But these numbers increase due to the events currently taking place in Palestine and also because of the work of the call centers.”
The lesson lies in the transmission of Islam in the quality and not in the quantity, and on the knowledge that Islam is a religion of grace and a breadth, no gray spaces in it, or prohibited things to discuss, as Balau says.
Muslims increase despite the distortion campaigns
While campaigns to distort Islam in the West are increasing, the demand for it is also increasing due to the spiritual void that these societies suffer, according to Palau.
The morals of Muslims in the West play an important role in spreading Islam as well because it contradicts the allegations that are trying to undermine this religion, as well as initiatives that try to define non -Muslims to religion.
The events that Muslims are exposed to in Palestine also played a major shift in the Western world and prompted many to convert to Islam after they saw the killing and abuse of Palestinians, and the patience and morals they saw from them according to Balau.
The guest touched on the story of a man who was closer to atheism, but he became Muslim when he saw the martyr Sheikh Khaled Al -Nabhan accepting his martyr’s granddaughter (spirit of the soul) in patience and skin before burial.
In Britain, a woman said that she was astonished when she saw one of the mothers in the Gaza Strip while she was bid farewell to her martyr son and said, “O Lord, praise be to you, O Lord, take from our blood until she is satisfied.”
Calling to God with glory
Balau believes that preachers and centers should call for God with pride, not to plead with people, saying that Islam is dear and calls for pride, even when you invite non -Muslims to him.
In addition to the pride, it is necessary to transmit the spirit of faith in those who invite them to the religion of God.
Despite his death, may God be pleased with him early, he was among those who participated in the Battle of the Trench and those who came in the year of delegations and those who participated in the conquest of Mecca, all of them who converted to Islam on his hands, according to the spokesman.
The preachers must also take into account the jurisprudence of priorities – as Balau says – not to hold on the margins of things as if they are the origin of Islam. This is the issue of the veil, for example, which should not be placed as a barrier in front of the woman of women, but rather to define it as an obligation of religion that does not prevent its dislocation without entering it.
Muslims should not underestimate the important role of the new means of communication, which many converted to Islam, according to Balau, who said that the tables of introducing Islam in universities, airports and markets also played a role in spreading Islam within Britain.
The students in Britain began, for example, organizing a weekly day for the veil in universities to introduce non -Muslim women and introduce them to it, and he said that women are currently playing an important role in calling to God in the countries of the West.
Balau concluded by emphasizing that the call is the responsibility of every Muslim and a Muslim, not only the responsibility of preachers, and said that every Muslim should pray to God with the means and reasons that are provided to him and not to despise an order in this regard.
